We engage in and promote, for the benefit of the residents of the town of Haddam, Connecticut, the preservation of natural resources of the Town, including water resources, marshlands, swamps, woodlands, and open spaces, and the plant and animal life therein, and the preservation of unique historical and scenic sites. Haddam Meadows State Park
This is an evening paddle on the Connecticut River.
Meet at the launch area in Haddam Meadows State Park. We will paddle upriver for less than one mile, landing at Haddam Island to witness the rising full moon, then return to the launch area. The entire event will take 2 to 3 hours. All paddle craft are welcome. Bring munchies.
High winds or rain will cancel this event.
